The A2Zteam and the Chocolate Factory

This week we took a trip to the chocolate factory before getting back into the school grind. After a quick checkup at the doctor, & some lunch, we headed over. The girls were excited to visit the factory already, but when we told them they would get to make chocolate pizzas at the end, they were even more excited! (We had the girls work in teams of 2 because 4 chocolate pizzas and tons of samples is a lil' excessive & it worked out great!).

I had visited this chocolate factory before & thought I knew just what to expect, but we were extra blessed that on this day they didn't just let them watch from a distance like usual, they actual let them walk the factory floor & taste things hot off of the machines. My girls are all about the oldie television shows & movies & today they were showcasing a machine that was a replica of the machine off the iconic "I Love Lucy" chocolate episode! They were over the moon.

The experience as a whole was great. I especially enjoy the field trips that let kiddos see how stuff is made, very educational & sweet! I am sure for the next few weeks they will be playing a lot of "chocolate factory" at home.
