Mommies of Girlies...

Tonight, I just wanted to take the time to share an awesome article & commercial that a friend recently came came across. Now, I know I have touched on this topic before, but as a mother who is raising up a lil' girl or girls, you can never be reminded enough! I encourage you to watch this commercial that Dove produced called "Evolution" & also check out some suggestions on how to continue to encourage self-esteem in your own young ladies that I found in this article.

P.S. Society also does a "good job" of presenting pictures to boys about what a "man is" & what they should look like. These are also things we are going to need to combat as parents. Instilling self-esteem into our children (male or female) is not just 1 person's job. Helping kids feel confident about their outward & most importantly inward is a group effort that we need to constantly work at.
