We have definitely have had a crazy week, but I can't help but love every second of it! The 2 older girls began t-ball this week & Asher got promoted to a more advanced dance class. Asher had been working very hard toward the goal of a ballet & tap combo class, so she was very excited when she was informed she reached this personal goal.
The 1st t-ball practice was Asher's. Of course this was on the same day as the girls' dance classes, but we joyfully rose to the challenge! We got up extra early to do our schooling & then it was off to dance. Asher enjoyed the more challenging ballet & loved the the clickety-clack of her new tap shoes. Afterwards, we went to the "Banana Store" (Starbucks) for some bananas & water to celebrate, Ash got an apple juice for special.
That afternoon we could not get out the door fast enough for t-ball, she was so excited! Its nice that the girls do some activities together, but it is also VERY important they get the opportunity to shine on their own from time to time. Daddy was able to get out there on the field & help her run bases, play catch, & bat. Her sisters enjoyed cheering her on & even met a new friend or 2. After practice, Asher informed me that this was her "favorite thing ever!". SO excited for her. She is definitely looking forward to her first game that happens to be on her sister's birthday as well! Fun stuff! Oh, 1 funny thing that I happened to notice is that our team has 5 pregnant mommies on it-LOL. I suggest if anyone does not want to get pregnant on the team that they switch immediately because there must be something going on haha.
The next afternoon was Aidann's time. This practice was a lot later in the afternoon so we definitely planned ahead & packed dinner, peach slices & sammies, & some entertainment, crayons & coloring books. Daddy had to work, so I got to get my 8 month pregnant self out on the field with Aidann, got work out though (but less pictures). Aidann has already played soccer, so she was very excited to get back into another organized sports. She had a blast with everything they did, but I definitely think batting was her favorite-"Man, I am rough. I hit that thing SO hard, Mommy!".
Well, I am excited to get into t-ball season. Should be interesting with a newborn coming into the mix pretty soon, but it should be fun! Have a wonderful weekend all. Scroll to the bottom for more info about stuff going on for the kiddos this weekend in AZ.
