I hope everyone had an absolutely wonderful holiday. I know ours was busy but still absolutely GREAT! We spent the 3rd at the lake where we got to enjoy some rides, great food, & a beautiful view until a dust storm decided to blow in for about an hour. We then camped out in our van where the kiddos snacked & enjoyed playing with flashlights & glow sticks until everything cleared up enough to enjoy a fun firework display before heading back home.
On the 4th we enjoyed a nice relaxing time at home before heading out to a nearby ballpark that evening with some family friends. There was great music & the girls loved kicking around soccer balls, playing with their bubble guns, & once again snacking out until the fireworks. This round of fireworks was a bit more interesting. We were probably as close at you could possibly be & it was very interesting to see each child's perspective on that, lol.
For the 5th, we went to visit our 2nd family at the fire station for lunch. Its always good spending time with them & of course we had to bring them some sprinkled cookies as well.
