If you have lil' toddlers whose lil' tushies are not quite ready to brave the adult-size toilet seat, this is a great solution. At first I was a lil' apprehensive about getting this double seat, but after I discovered how easily the toddler seat attaches when you no longer need it, the great quality, how the toddler seat stays hooked to the toilet seat magnetically (easy to pull down & stays attached to lid when you do not need it), & the easy cleaning I decided to give it a shot. Its a nice next step once your child is pretty well potty trained on the small toddler seats & much easier than holding your toddler over the big potty seat & cleaner than putting that "foam" potty seat on & off after every use. I noticed that my 2 older girls are loving how independent they feel when they can just pull their step stool up to the toilet, lift up the lid, pull down the toddler sized seat, climb up, & go themselves without needing any assistance. Then they can just close it, flush, move their step stool over to the sink, wash their lil' hands, & be done. Oh, a cute tip I read in a magazine is that if you have a lil' toddler that gets soap happy, put a rubber band around the neck of pump-style soap dispensers to limit the amount of soap dispensed per pump. :)
